If you need me promptly, find the whisk broom & mop-curly hair in the civic triangle, picking up cigarette butts, ice cream napkins, gum, and glass particulate so all the sweet doggies don't cut their paws.

I stand for Council because it is the best, but not the only, way to integratedly solve Stratford's most systemic challenges. I am a problem determiner, and an immediate solution activator.

Why ever wait to start step one of the solution when a problem has been determined?

For me, step one was achieving and then maintaining a clean downtown core. The epicentre was the weeds around the gates to the Tir Na Nog pathway of Enchantment for Lost Youth, and then grew to encompass Waterloo to Ontario to Erie to St. Patrick/George, the defined "city core". People feel comfortable and enjoy themselves more when the public pathways & civic triangle are unlittered and without persistent pavement weeds.

Step two is the authority of public office, now underway in pursuit of efficiency and transparency in all public works. As example, why did the litter collect? Why was it not seen, or why was it seen and action not taken? Taken as a metaphor, what other government processes are dirty, unfocused, or unnecessarily opaque?

Stratfjord is a special spiritual place, a place where caring and conscientious individuals are not only the norm, but overwhelmingly everywhere. Nowhere else does a polite greeting not possibly turn into a meaningful and memorable conversation, if not a new best friend. Let's reform our local government to reflect that reality!
